Germans developing everlasting battery
Tired of mobile phones that always require recharging at the worst moments, researchers in Germany are developing a radical new battery that never needs recharging. Mobile phones, notebook computers and iPods are all devices dependent on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries to deliver power. But the German researchers have developed a new class of lifeless ionic conductor with a structure similar to that of the mineral argyrodite.
Software to Monitor Member of staff Health
A copyright application filed by Microsoft with the US Patent Office reveals that the company is developing software, which might help employers monitor the productivity, competence, and physical well being of their employees. The software will measure employees’ heart rate, body temperature, brain signals, pressure group, facial expression, and blood force, and will be able to say when they are stressed or aggravated simply by reading heartbeats and facial expressions.
