The device uses Bluetooth to provide you up to 30 feet of range. Rechargeable Li-ion batteries can last a full month between charges, so the sore search for batteries when your remote goes deceased is a thing of the past. It has two back-light modes – orange for touchpad mode, and green for media remote mode. I’m not sure how that makes the world improved, but it’s kind of cool.
